Raw Honey Hair Mask

Hi everyone,

So while many of you many think of honey and think of a natural sweetener, I am here to tell you that organic raw honey has so many benefits. I really love using raw honey hair masks because acts as a deep conditioner for those prone to dry and damaged hair. Organic raw honey masks are also great for your hair because not only does it create shine from the follicle to the ends, it promotes hair growth and reduces dandruff!

Here is a link to a website with my favorite raw honey hair mask:

Again, organic honey is a great example of going organic because it is unprocessed, pure honey that is free from pesticides and other chemicals such as bacteria.

Hope you try it out!

Coconut Oil Hair Mask

Coconut oil is a big thing for young women today because it can be used for so many different purposes. It not only is a great deep conditioner for hair but it also a great makeup remover, a great natural deodorant, cooking oil, and sunscreen.

I really love using organic coconut oil from Whole Food's to wear as a hair mask once a week. Some of the benefits of using coconut oil on your hair are:

  • Regulate metabolism
  • Improve elasticity and health of your skin and hair
  • Promote anti-fungus
  • Protect skin cells
  • Increased immunity

Organic coconut oil is great because most coconut oils for sale are refined with various chemical agents. Organic coconuts come from organic coconut farms which are grown pesticide free.

I also use a coconut oil hair mask from this site!

Lavender Grapeseed Body Lotion

Hi guys,

I first wanted to tell you a little bit about my love for organic lavender. I visit a local lavender farm each summer, Hope Hill Lavender farm, in my hometown and not only is it beautiful, but lavender itself is so versatile. It can be used as an ingredient in food, lotion, and cosmetics. Here is a picture from this lovely lavender farm!

I am a huge fan of using lavender as a skin lotion. Why? Because it has so many benefits. Not only does lavender regulate your circadian rhythm, but it is proven to calm your nervous system. Who knew that lavender lotion could help reduce anxiety and stress. Well it does! Other great benefits include inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis and acne. It also is used as an anti fungal agent and speeds up the healing of wounds and cuts.

Here is a great organic lavender and grape seed lotion that I enjoy to use on a daily basis!

Aloe Vera Shampoo

First of all, I would like to say how much of a fan of aloe vera I am. Specifically, organic aloe vera. Summer is just a few weeks away and many of us experience dry, flaky skin from the winter months. Although you actually are able to drink aloe vera, and is used for medicinal purposes in cases of a sunburn, I am a HUGE fan of organic aloe vera body lotion.

Here's why:

I decided to change to only purchasing organic cosmetics about six months ago. There are so many toxic chemicals put into skincare and haircare products these days that strip away the natural oils in our skin and hair follicles. Not only do they actually strip away your natural oils, but these toxic chemicals are then absorbed through your skin and hair into your body and these toxins have proven to contribute to short and long term illnesses. So I ask you all to choose organic. I know the price can be more, but trust me your body and refreshed self will thank you!

I love using aloe vera because it has so many health benefits that not only revitalize your skin, but makes your hair healthy and rejuvenated. It removes dandruff, repairs split ends, and leaves your hair silky smooth.

This website has one of the most natural aloe vera shampoos I have ever used! I highly recommend it.
